To further upgrade its quality management system and enhance global market competitiveness, Meidoor Factory officially held an ISO system certification kick-off meeting on December 29. The meeting, attended by factory management, department heads, and core technical personnel, clarified the key objectives, implementation roadmap, and division of responsibilities for the ISO9000 series quality management system certification. As a globally recognized benchmark for quality management, obtaining ISO9000 certification will lay a more solid foundation for Meidoor to deepen its presence in international markets such as North America, Australia, and Europe.
ISO9000 series standards, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), focus on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and process control—core elements that align with Meidoor’s long-term development strategy of “quality-driven global expansion.” In recent years, as Meidoor has accelerated its entry into high-standard international markets, the demand for a systematic and standardized quality management system has become increasingly urgent. The launch of the ISO9000 certification preparation work is a strategic move to respond to market demands and enhance the core competitiveness of its products.
At the meeting, the factory’s Quality Management Department detailed the preparation plan for the certification work. The entire process will be divided into three phases: system diagnosis and planning, document compilation and training, and internal audit and rectification. In the first phase, a professional third-party consulting team will be invited to conduct a comprehensive diagnosis of Meidoor’s existing quality management processes, identify gaps with ISO9000 standards, and formulate a targeted improvement plan. The second phase will focus on compiling quality manuals, procedure documents, and operational guidelines that meet the certification requirements, while conducting full-staff training to ensure that all employees understand and master the system requirements.
The third phase will involve internal audits and management reviews. The internal audit team, composed of trained personnel from various departments, will conduct self-inspections of each business process to verify the implementation effect of the system and put forward rectification opinions for existing problems. After completing the internal rectification, Meidoor will formally apply for on-site certification by an authoritative ISO certification body.
“Obtaining ISO9000 certification is not only a requirement for entering the international market but also a driving force for improving the overall management level of the factory,” said Jay, Head of Meidoor Factory, in his speech at the meeting. “All departments must attach great importance to this work, strictly follow the preparation plan, and ensure that each link meets the certification standards. We will take this certification as an opportunity to further optimize the production process, improve product quality stability, and better meet the needs of global customers.”
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the certification work, Meidoor has established a special leading group for ISO9000 certification, with Jay as the group leader, to coordinate resources from various departments and supervise the implementation progress of the preparation work. The group will hold weekly regular meetings to summarize the work progress, solve problems encountered in the preparation process, and ensure that the certification work is completed as scheduled.
It is reported that Meidoor’s existing product lines, including the NFRC-certified 90S series fixed windows for the North American market and the AS 2047-compliant MD76A/MD75S series for the Australian market, will be fully integrated into the ISO9000 quality management system. This will further enhance the traceability and stability of product quality, providing stronger quality assurance for global customers.
Industry insiders pointed out that for fenestration manufacturers competing in the global market, ISO9000 certification is an important “passport” to gain customer trust. Meidoor’s active preparation for the certification reflects its determination to take the high-quality development path and will help the company stand out in the fierce international competition.
Meidoor expects to complete all preparation work and obtain the ISO9000 series certification certificate in the second quarter of next year.
