To capitalize on the networking opportunities of the booming Middle Eastern construction market, Jay, General Manager of Meidoor Factory, traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in late November to conduct targeted client visits at the 2025 Big 5 Global Construction Exhibition. As the most influential architectural and building materials event in the Middle East, this exhibition gathers thousands of enterprises, buyers, and industry leaders from around the world—serving as an ideal platform for high-level business exchanges. Meidoor, while not participating as an exhibitor, leveraged the event’s concentration of key clients to arrange a series of in-depth meetings, marking a strategic move to deepen its presence in the Saudi and broader Middle Eastern markets.
Saudi Arabia, as the core market of the Middle East construction industry, has shown a strong demand for high-performance building materials driven by its “Vision 2030” initiative. Data shows that Saudi Arabia’s imports of door and window products have maintained an annual growth rate of 10.2% in recent years, becoming a key growth pole for the global fenestration market . Against this backdrop, Meidoor’s participation in Big 5 Global focused on showcasing product solutions tailored to the local climate and technical standards, attracting extensive attention from Middle Eastern buyers.
Against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” initiative, the local construction industry has seen a surge in demand for high-performance, climate-adapted fenestration products. Jay’s visit focused on connecting with existing cooperative clients and potential partners at the exhibition, bringing along customized product solutions tailored to Saudi Arabia’s high-temperature, sandstorm-prone environment and strict technical standards.
“The Big 5 Global Exhibition is a gathering of the Middle East’s construction elite, and we chose to be here not to exhibit, but to listen and connect directly with our clients,” Jay emphasized during a meeting with local partners. “Saudi Arabia’s construction boom isn’t just about quantity—it’s about high-quality, climate-resilient solutions. Our MD100S series is built for this market, and this trip lets us deepen our understanding of on-the-ground needs while strengthening trust with our partners.”
Jay’s client visit schedule was tightly focused on high-value partnerships. On November 28, he led his team to meet with one of Saudi Arabia’s largest general contractors—at the exhibition’s business meeting area. The two sides reviewed their existing cooperation progress and reached a preliminary agreement to supply 2,000 sets of MD100S windows for new residential project in Jeddah. The following day, Jay traveled to Dammam to visit a key port-city client, where they discussed plans to establish a localized after-sales support network to shorten maintenance response times—a proposal that earned strong approval.
To solidify the outcomes of the trip, Jay announced plans to establish a regional liaison office in Riyadh by the first quarter of 2026. This office will focus on client relationship management, technical support, and market demand feedback for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, enabling Meidoor to respond more swiftly to local client needs.
